Day 1 — Arrival in Arusha
Fly into Kilimanjaro and transfer to Arusha for a one-night stay at a colonial-era property in the foothills of Mount Meru. Use the day to recover from travel, visit the vibrant Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre, and enjoy a welcome dinner. Your safari guide will visit in the evening for a detailed briefing.
Days 2–4 — Three Nights in Tarangire National Park
Three full days gives you the luxury of pace in Tarangire. Day one: arrive in the early afternoon for a game drive along the Tarangire River, where the elephant concentration is at its most dramatic. Day two: a full south-circuit exploration, leaving at 6am with a packed bush breakfast to eat beside a waterhole.
